Résumé :

In this talk, I’m going to introduce some of the main concepts of loop quantum gravity and its covariant formulation, based on spinfoam. Despite numerous great advances made in the field during the last years, we still have difficulties performing realistic numerical calculations.

In the second part of this talk, I will present novel methods which allow us to circumvent some of the issues. These methods will be illustrated with several examples of transition of geometry, such as the transition from a black hole to a white hole.
