Résumé :

The aim of the conference is to present some results concerning the preparation and characterization of mesoporous silica and chitosan coatings on zinc and glass substrates. The silica coatings were obtained from precursor sols with sol-gel method, dip-coating technique. In order to obtain the porous structure different surfactants were used as templating agents. The pores were incubated with corrosion inhibitors. The chitosan coatings were impregnated with several non-toxic compounds in order to enhance their corrosion resistance. The stability of them was investigated by means of dye release. Electrochemical methods (potentiodynamic polarization, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy) were used to investigate the anti-corrosion properties of the layers. Optical behavior of the coatings was studied by UV-VIS spectroscopy.
